Registrations are now open for the 14th edition of IBL on the Move – Special Disability Edition. Organised by IBL Group, the event will be held on Saturday 18 April 2026 at Azuri Ocean & Golf Village, Rivière du Rempart. Registrations are open until Wednesday 18 March 2026.
Open to anyone from 6 to 75 years old, the event offers several exciting sporting challenges such as 6 km and 12 km running races, a triathlon (solo or relay) and a 40 km mountain bike race.
True to its signature “Moving for a cause”, IBL on the Move has become a flagship sports and charity event, bringing together athletes, IBL employees, families and partners around a cause that creates a meaningful and lasting social impact.
In November 2025, Fondation Joseph Lagesse, IBL Group’s social foundation, launched a call for projects to choose the beneficiary NGO for this special edition focused on disability and inclusion. After a careful selection process, APEIM (Association de Parents d’Enfants Inadaptés de l’Île Maurice) was chosen as the beneficiary.

APEIM was founded 55 years ago and is dedicated to promoting the social and professional inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. Funds raised through IBL on the Move 2026 will support APEIM’s inclusive social enterprise, Callithea Café, with the aim of strengthening employability and autonomy among its beneficiaries. This support will enable the café to welcome more trainees and offer a comprehensive training environment that fosters professional skills development and sustainable integration into the workforce.
“Since its launch in 2013, IBL on the Move has established itself as a collective initiative that combines sport, commitment and solidarity. This year, the committee has chosen to support APEIM, whose work in promoting autonomy and professional inclusion for people living with disabilities fully reflects IBL Group’s values of togetherness and inclusion. By rallying around this edition, everyone can play a key role in shaping a better future, in line with our purpose: Shaping better lives and better tomorrows. Together,” said Viken Vadeevaloo, Foundation Manager of the Fondation Joseph Lagesse.
Timothy Nootoo, Project Manager at APEIM, added: “Every young adult with an intellectual disability has a place in our society. Through our social enterprise initiative, Callithea, APEIM aims to redefine the future of the young people we support by providing them with skills and autonomy. We are confident that this partnership will generate a meaningful and lasting impact within society.”
