Meet Guillaume Alcindor

07/04/2026

After twelve years in the comfort of an air-conditioned office in Ebène, Guillaume Alcindor made a bold shift in 2019. He joined Cervonic as an Assistant Operator, trading corporate routines for steel-toe boots, rotating shifts and a hands-on environment that pushed him out of his comfort zone. Today, he works as a Control Room Operator – a role that requires technical precision and a steady hand.

In a four-person team, he monitors and maintains the machines that transform fish residues into oil and fishmeal. Equipment he once knew nothing about and terms like tricanter, polisher and nitrogen or glucose machines have since become part of his daily routine. What motivates him most is the problem-solving: reacting quickly during a breakdown and feeling the quiet satisfaction once operations run smoothly again.

Calm, patient and collaborative, he is known for his reliability and team spirit. The youngest of four siblings, he spends time with his family whenever his schedule allows, and often heads to the beach after a shift to unwind. His approach to progress is simple: acknowledge mistakes, learn something new every day, and keep moving forward.
